GS2022-001-P-84004 - Exterior Refresh, Structural & Site Upgrade for 25 Furby St., Winnipeg

This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Department of Labour, Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery on behalf of the owner of the project, Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation to prospective proponents to submit proposals for a Structural Work as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3).

CPPD requires the services of a Contractor for Exterior Refresh, Structural and Site Upgrade in a 5-storey building at 25 Furby St., Winnipeg, MB. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to: selective demolition, parking lot surface repair for drainage improvement, sidewalk replacement, steps & ramp replacement, fencing replacement, lighting replacement, structural repairs (wall, balcony and railing), vestibule doors replacement complete with doors & accessibility hardware, excavation & backfilling in the perimeter of the building for regrading, weeping tile replacement, foundation parging/insulation repair, electrical work, painting and sodding. Work site location will be occupied during construction.

A mandatory site visit has been scheduled as follows:
Location: 25 Furby St., Winnipeg, MB
Date and Time: April 20, 2022 at 10:00 AM local time

Proponents are to meet at the entrance prior to 10:00 AM to sign the site attendance sheet.

Attendance at the site visit/pre-bid meeting will be confirmed and recorded.

Deadline for questions April 18, 2022. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca
