This bid opportunity is open to all interested suppliers.
This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Department of Central Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery on behalf of the owner of the project, Manitoba Housing to prospective proponents to submit proposals for a Deconstruction and New Build at 11 Marlene Street as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3).

CPPD requires the services of a General Contractor for the demolition of one six-plex building and construction of new six-plex building in Winnipeg. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to: Demolition (including asbestos abatement) of one existing six‐plex building and site preparation, excavation for and the construction of foundations as designed, framing and complete finishing of 1 six‐plex, conventionally wood‐framed, backfill, compaction, grading as specified, site work / servicing / landscaping / fencing / paving. Demolition and new construction of six (6) three‐bedroom housing units and related site works at the site located at 11 Marlene Street of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Work site location will not be occupied during construction.
A mandatory site visit will is scheduled on January 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM local time.
Physical distancing will be strictly enforced and mask are mandatory.

Bid submission deadline is February 9, 2022 at 2:00:00 P.M. CST. This is an e-bid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the e-bid requirements.
