This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Labour, Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Projects Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for a cooling tower replacement, as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Work”).
CPPD requires the services of a Contractor for general contracting at Assiniboine Community College in Brandon, MB. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing cooling tower, installation of new cooling tower complete with concrete pad, revisions to piping to suit new installation, connections, controls, and electrical. Work site location will be occupied during construction.
A mandatory site visit has been scheduled as follows:

Proponents are to pre-register by email to the project manager at
john.pattie@gov.mb.ca. It is the Proponents responsibility to ensure registration and confirmation has been received prior to the meeting.
Deadline for registration is 7:00 AM local time, September 15, 2022.
Deadline for questions is September 27, 2022 at 4:00 PM local time. All questions are to be submitted via email to the RFP Contact at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca. Proponents and their representatives are not permitted to contact any employees, officers, agents, elected or appointed officials, or other representatives of Manitoba or CPPD other than the RFP Contact, concerning matters regarding this RFP, except registration for the site visit. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in the disqualification of the proponent and the rejection of the proponent’s proposal.
Submission deadline is October 4, 2022 at 2:00:00 PM local time. Proposals must be submitted through MERX Electronic Bid Submission (“EBS”) System. No other form of Proposal submission will be accepted.
