Description

Manitoba Conservation and Climate is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of several non provincial highway gravel based roads within Duck Mountain Provincial Park. These roads include cottage subdivision roads in the Childs Lake area, Blue Lake area, Singush Lake area and the Wellman Lake area. There are also a variety of day use sidings, fishing launches, access roads and campground roads spread between these 4 main areas that require road maintenance year round. Manitoba’s maintenance of these roads includes grading, signing, gravelling and snow plowing. Manitoba requires the provision of contracted grading and snowplowing services on Conservation and Climate Parks controlled roads located within the Duck Mountain Provincial Park.
