Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for the Site Lighting Upgrade in Argentia, NL.

The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal site in Argentia, Newfoundland.

The Work generally includes, but it is not necessarily limited to, the supply and install of new pole mounted luminaires, including supply and install of new feeders for wharf site lighting.

More particularly the work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:
 

  • Mobilization and demobilization, including all labor and equipment as specified and as required to carry out the work.
 
  • The Work will require the use of a boat/barge for access.
 
  • Removal and disposal of existing pole luminaires and mounting accessories.
 
  • Removal and disposal of existing wooden pole cross arms and hardware.
 
  • Removal and disposal of existing cabling no longer required in new work.
 
  • Supply and installation of new pole mounted luminaires and required mountain arms and supports.
 
  • Supply and installation of new cross arms, mounting hardware, and steel plates for existing wooden poles.
 
  • Supply and installation of new feeders for wharf site lighting.
 
  • Supply and installation of feeder mounting supports, associated junction boxes, and splice kits.
 
  • Supply and installation install new site lighting contactors.
 
  • Submittals:
    • Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Construction Schedule.
    • Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Site-Specific Safety Plan.
Marine Atlantic reserves the right to accept tenders in whole or in part.  The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

A site visit will be held on Tuesday, November 01, 2022 at 9:30 AM Newfoundland Time, at the site in Argentia, Newfoundland.

The closing for receipt of tenders will be 1400 hours Atlantic Time, November 10, 2022.

Proposals must be submitted by electronic means using the MERX EBS.

This will be the only method of response accepted for consideration. Proposals will not be considered if submitted by fax, email or other open forms of communication.  Proposals must be received by the closing date and hour.  Late Proposals will not be considered.

Amélioration de l’éclairage du site
Argentia, Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador (TNL)

Marine Atlantique Inc. (MAI) lance un appel d’offres de la part de vendeurs qualifiés, pour l’amélioration de l’éclairage du site à Argentia, TNL.

Le projet se trouve à la gare maritime Marine Atlantic d’Argentia, TNL.

En règle générale, les éléments suivants font partie des travaux (sans s’y limiter) : la fourniture et l’installation des luminaires installés sur des poteaux, incluant la fourniture et l’installation de dispositifs d’alimentation pour l’éclairage du quai.
Plus précisément, les travaux comprennent principalement, sans toutefois s’y limiter, ce qui suit :
 
  • Effectuer la mobilisation et la démobilisation, et fournir la main-d’œuvre et l’équipement nécessaires pour effectuer les travaux, selon les spécifications.
 
  • L’accès aux travaux se fera à l’aide d’un bateau ou d’une barge.
 
  • Le retrait et l’élimination des luminaires sur pôles et des accessoires d’installation existants.
 
  • Le retrait et l’élimination des luminaires des bras transversaux en bois et des équipements
 
  • Le retrait et l’élimination du câblage existant non utilisé dans le cadre des nouveaux travaux.
 
  • La fourniture et l’installation de nouveaux luminaires installés sur des poteaux et les soutiens requis en montagne.
 
  • La fourniture et l’installation de nouveaux bras transversaux, d’équipements de montage et de plaques d’acier pour les poteaux en bois existants.
 
  • La fourniture et l’installation de dispositifs d’alimentation pour l’éclairage du quai.
 
  • La fourniture et l’installation de structures de soutien au montage des dispositifs d’alimentation, des boîtes de connexion associées et des trousses d’épissure.
 
  • La fourniture et l’installation de nouveaux entrepreneurs pour l’éclairage du site.
 
  • À soumettre :
o Préparation, présentation et mise en place d’un calendrier des travaux approuvé.
o Préparation, présentation et mise en œuvre d’un plan approuvé de sécurité propre au site.
Marine Atlantique se réserve le droit d’accepter des soumissions dans leur totalité ou en partie. Marine Atlantique ne s’engage à retenir ni la plus basse ni aucune des soumissions.

Une visite du site d’Argentia (Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador) aura lieu le mardi 1 novembre 2022 à 9 h 30 (Heure de Terre-Neuve).

La date limite de réception des soumissions est le 10 novembre 2022, à 14 h (heure de l’Atlantique)
Les propositions doivent être soumises par voie électronique à l’aide du système de soumissions par voie électronique (EBS) de MERX.
Seules les réponses soumises de cette manière seront prises en compte. Les propositions ne seront pas prises en compte si elles sont envoyées par télécopieur, par courriel ou par d’autres moyens de communication ouverts.
Les propositions doivent être reçues avant la date et l’heure de clôture. Les propositions tardives ne seront pas prises en compte.
