PAB Alternate Dock Moorex Platform

Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for the PAB Alternate Dock Moorex Platform project.

The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal in Port aux Basques, NL. Specifically on the Alternate Dock.

The Work generally includes, but it is not necessarily limited to:

The removal of the existing steel platform access structure along the dock face as per the contract drawings.
The installation of new concrete to limits shown in the contract documents.
The fabrication, supply, and installation of new steel access platforms complete with an aluminium flip out section on guardrails.
A site visit will be held on January 8th, 2019 at 11:00 am Newfoundland Time at the PAB Alternate Dock.

The closing for receipt of tenders will be 1400 hours Atlantic Time, January 17th, 2019.

Proposals must be submitted by electronic means using the MERX EBS.

This will be the only method of response accepted for consideration. Proposals will not be considered if submitted by fax, email or other open forms of communication. Proposals must be received by the closing date and hour. Late Proposals will not be considered.

Plateforme Moorex du quai secondaire - PAB

Marine Atlantique S.C.C. est à la recherche d’offres de service auprès de sociétés qualifiées pour le projet Plateforme Moorex du quai secondaire de PAB.

Le projet se tiendra au terminal de Marine Atlantique situé à Port aux Basques, Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador. Spécifiquement au quai secondaire.

Les travaux comprennent, sans y être limités, les éléments suivants :

L'enlèvement de la structure d'accès à la plateforme en acier actuelle le long de la façade du quai, conformément aux dessins contractuels.
L'installation de nouveau béton aux limites indiquées dans les documents contractuels.
La fabrication, la fourniture et l'installation de nouvelles plateformes d'accès en acier complétées par une section rabattable en aluminium sur rails.
Une visite du site aura lieu le 8 janvier 2019 à 11h00, heure de Terre-Neuve au quai secondaire de PAB.

La date de clôture pour la réception des propositions est le 17 janvier 2019 à 1400 heures, heure de l’Atlantique.

Les propositions doivent être soumises par voie électronique en utilisant l’Envoi de soumission électronique (EBS) de MERX.

Il s’agit de la seule méthode de réponse acceptée à des fins de considération. Les propositions ne seront pas considérées si elles sont soumises par télécopieur, courriel ou autres formes ouvertes de communication. Les propositions doivent être reçues au plus tard à la date et à l’heure de clôture. Les propositions reçues en retard ne seront pas considérées.

a) Section 00 41 13 – Tender Form and Section 00 42 00 –
Supplementary Tender Information in their entirety, with all
pages and spaces for entry of information by Tenderers filled
in as instructed.
b) Acknowledgement of Addenda received by the Tenderer during the
Tendering period.
c) A copy of Tenderer's current and valid Certificate of
Recognition (COR) Program, Letter of Good Standing, issued by
Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association.
d) A copy of valid Clearance Letter, issued by Workplace Health,
Safety and Compensation Commission of Newfoundland and
Labrador.
