The Information Systems & Decision Support Services (ISDS) team at LOFT Community Services is
seeking Business Intelligence (BI) related services that will allow LOFT to leverage its newly purchased
Microstrategy BI platform. The proponent is required to provide, on an as-needed basis, ongoing
services related to development and maintenance of new reporting products, as well as additional
installations, integrations, ongoing maintenance and further support as required. Specifically, the
detailed scope of work will include, but will not be limited to:
Develop Microstrategy reports, documents, dashboards, and other related products
Work with the ISDS team and other business clients to understand their requirements and
produce functional specification documents
Support customizations to Microstrategy and integrations with other products where necessary
Defining the underlying architecture for required solutions
Consult on data warehouse requirements, additions, and changes
Design and create ETL based on business rules and processes
Provide guidance on future developments and enhancements
Consult on general best practices on developing and maintaining reporting environments
Engagement around these scopes of work should follow two streams, depending on requirements at a
given time
1. Longer projects of more than 2 weeks of work with defined scope and requirements
2. Ad hoc support of 1h-1day to resolve minor issues and provide guidance to in-house
development team
