The intent of this proposal is to acquire a high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) system. This HPLC should be configured with a mass spectroscopy detector and an Evaporative Light Scattering Detector. Some application that this instrument will be used for are analysis of compunds in food and beverage products, detection of contaminants at trace levels including pesticides and pharmaceuticals and more.
