Description

Project Goal:

Klinic requires an accessibility review of our facility, policies, procedures, and training materials. This would include the development of recommendations addressing any gaps identified and implementation recommendations.

The accessibility review will:

Ensure we have standards in place to ensure we are compliant with any legislative requirements,
Raise awareness of our strengths and weaknesses with regards to barriers to accessing our service,
Develop tools, resources, and training to support compliance with any legislative requirements and identified need,
Inform an accessibility plan for our organization.

Project Overview:

A review of our facility from an accessibility perspective, our policies, procedures, and training materials.

The consultant will :

Provide an organizational assessment;
Conduct an environmental scan for the organization;
Evaluate the program in alignment with Klinic’s Values and Strategic Directions;
Identify gaps and make recommendations;
Develop tools, policies, procedures and training materials;
Provide an accessibility plan for our facility, including an implementation strategy.

Expected/minimum input and validation:

Proponents should account for incorporating input from the following stakeholders, including the number of consultations, focus groups, surveys, interviews in their project plan:

1. Staff, management, and volunteers
2. Agencies/organizations working with shared clientele or geographic area
3. Communities, community members and service participants.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Only those proposals received by the stated deadline will be considered. All proposals submitted by the deadline will be reviewed and evaluated based upon information provided in the submitted proposal.

Proposals will be evaluated on the following criteria:

1. Proposed Accessibility process/methodology including:
  1. Approach to the review
  2. Proposed project plan
  3. Proposed project timeline with major tasks and milestones.
2. Experience in the non-profit sector, specifically social service provision for vulnerable and/or marginalized communities
3. Experience gathering and analyzing data that effectively translates into meaningful recommendations.
4. Project budget and fee structure
5. Identification of team members to be involved with the project and their role/experience
6. Client references

Please provide examples of past consultation and program review work completed with similar organization and scope including samples.

Klinic Community Health reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or discontinue any proposal at any time without obligation or notice to the proposing bidder.
