Description

In 2020, the IESO will undergo its triennial audit of its compliance with North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) reliability standards. The on-site audit will be conducted by the Northeast Power Coordinating Council, Inc. (NPCC) and is expected to take place in early Q4 2020. Prior to the audit, the IESO will also be subjected to an Internal Controls Evaluation (ICE) which is expected to take place in early Q2 2020. In preparation for the (ICE), the IESO proposes to procure contract services.

1. 1. The IESO requires the successful Vendor to provide the following documents for the ICE and 2020 Audit (“the Project”):
Documentation of internal controls for up to fifteen (15) reliability standards applicable to the IESO’s registered functions taken from the standards groups stated in Section 1.1;
Preparation of Reliability Standards Audit Worksheets (RSAW) and collection of related evidence for up to twenty (20) reliability standards applicable to the IESO’s registered functions taken from the standards groups stated in Section 1.1; and
Supporting preparation for ICE and Audit readiness reviews.
