Description

This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation by the Independent Electricity System Operator (the “IESO”) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of: (a) a new settlement solution that supports the IESO’s market settlements business process and contains a calculation/business rules engine that is configured with the IESO’s Charge Types and Equations and is capable of: (i) being integrated with other IESO systems; and (ii) incorporating future market design changes as needed, including as a result of the implementation of the Market Renewal Program and in connection with changes to government policies, legislation and regulations from time to time (the “Settlement Solution”); and (b) support services for the Settlement Solution.
