RFP-129 - Home Energy Expert (A component of the Residential Direct Install & Energy Prog)

This Request for Proposals ("RFP") is an invitation by the Independent Electricity System Operator (the “IESO”) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Home Energy Expert Services (“HEE Services”) – a component of the Residential Direct Install and Energy Review Program (the “Program”), as further described in Section 2 of Appendix C – IESO Information & Requirements (the "Deliverables"), for a period of one (1) year with the option to extend for a further one (1) year.

HEE Services 
The HEE Service Provider will have two roles, as follows: 

1. The HEE Service Provider will be provided with data collected by the In-Home Service Providers during in-home visits.  The specific data provided to the HEE Service Provider is set out in Appendix J to this RFP.  The HEE Service Provider will analyze the data and provide each Participant with a customized report that outlines which existing energy, water and GHG reduction programs available in Ontario they may be eligible for or interested in and provide them with an estimate of potential energy bill savings; and 
2. Any Ontario resident (regardless of their participation in the In-Home Services component of the Program) will also have access (via phone, email or web) to advice from fully trained HEE Service Provider personnel, who will be able to provide impartial expert advice on potential further energy efficiency, water efficiency and GHG emissions reduction upgrades/retrofits available to homeowners.
