270 - Data Governance Tool

This Request for Proposals ("RFP") is an invitation by the Independent Electricity System Operator (the “IESO”) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of the services and deliverables described in Appendix C of this RFP (the "Services"), during the period of time described in Appendix C of this RFP.

The IESO is seeking a Solution Provider for the provision of a Data Governance tool (“the Tool”) with an initial focus on a data catalog that maintains an inventory of data assets through the discovery, description, and organization of datasets. The Tool must provide context to enable data analysts, data scientists, data stewards, and other data consumers to find and understand a relevant dataset for the purpose of extracting business value. The Tool can also provide other features such as data quality monitoring, data access provisioning and business glossary functionality.
