Introduction and background
Public request for proposals for the conveyance of immovable property by emphyteusis (the “Emphyteusis”) and the sale of equipment used in the production of demineralized water as part of the decommissioning and dismantling of Gentilly-2 nuclear generating station.
The demineralized water treatment facility is located near Bécancour thermal generating station, on the site of Gentilly-2 nuclear facilities.
Three (3) options are available under this public request for proposals:
Option 1) Emphyteusis and acquisition of equipment
Emphyteusis over immovable property including, in particular, the main terms and conditions described in Appendix D, and acquisition of all equipment listed in Appendix B, allowing for the production of demineralized water to resume, subject to a specific agreement between the parties.
Option 2) Emphyteusis only
Emphyteusis over immovable property including, in particular, the main terms and conditions described in Appendix D.
Option 3) Acquisition of equipment only
Purchase of all equipment listed in Appendix B. All equipment will be sold as a single block.
