Notice of Intent (NOI):
This notice is to inform prospective vendors of the upcoming RFP for KB Main Kitchen Renovations. A formal RFP document with the complete scope and specifications will be posted subsequently on MERX in the near future.
Brief Scope:
The Request for Proposal (RFP) under preparation is for the renovation of the Main Kitchen in building KB (basement of building K) which serves as Humber’s main kitchen for the Food Emporium (main cafeteria) and other food kiosks at the North Campus. This expansion and renovation project will include expansion of the existing kitchen into the adjacent Seventh Semester conference space and renovation of the new combined Main Kitchen space. The work will also entail the removal and replacement of kitchen exhaust, air-handling units (AHU’s), make-up air units, and the associated air distribution system. Construction is anticipated to commence on January 1, 2022, with the Total Performance of the Contract required by August 31, 2022.
