This RFSQ is issued by Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation (“HHSC”).
HHSC is a leading hospital that combines high-quality patient care with operational excellence and fiscal responsibility. HHSC aims to achieve the highest levels of value for patients in a sustainable and accessible manner. To support continuous improvement in the quality of care for our patients through innovation and evidence-based practices, HHSC leaders and staff require efficient access to organized, high-quality data to support timely decisions with evidence, to identify new and innovative opportunities for improvement and to monitor the success of implemented improvements. HHSC’s corporate strategic plan calls for organizational transformation to achieve our vision, Best Care for All. The principles of the strategic plan are rooted in operational excellence, employee empowerment, and continuous rapid improvement, transparency, and accountability. A key enabler of HHSC’s strategy is the Digital Health Plan (“DHP”), HHSC’s long-term plan for reinvestment in the hospital’s technology infrastructure.
The “Unified Data Architecture” (“UDA”) project, which is a component of the DHP, aims to provide leaders with efficient access to high-quality data for decision support.
HHSC is seeking an innovative Solution that will create a Unified Data Architecture that Integrates operational, financial and clinical data, drawn from many separate and diverse data sources, and makes that data conveniently, efficiently and effectively available for decision support and analytics – a key enabler for HHSC’s strategy.
The UDA, and this procurement, is one part of the larger DHP project to enhance HHSC’s digital infrastructure. This procurement is focused exclusively on the creation of the unified and Integrated source of data (the UDA), not on the implementation of analytical tools, dashboards or reports.
