PW-SW-03-2018 - Leaf and Yard Waste Collection, Hauling and Processing

Haldimand County is inviting Contractors to submit bids for the:

a) Spring and Fall Leaf & Yard Waste Collection, Haulage & Processing: Includes curbside collections in designated urban Communities within Haldimand County and the hauling of the collected Leaf and Yard Waste to an approved Processing Facility prescribed by the Contractor until the completion of the Contract.

b) Leaf and Yard Waste Haulage & Processing from CWMF: Includes the Contractor providing collection bins at the CWMF for which the public is permitted to drop off their Leaf and Yard Waste as well as the removal/replacement of the bins and hauling of the collected Leaf and Yard Waste to an approved Processing Facility prescribed by the Contractor until the completion of the Contract.

c) Pilot Project – RURAL LEAF AND YARD COLLECTION PROGRAM: Council has brought forward a Notice of Motion and approved a resolution regarding a 2-year Leaf and Yard Waste pilot project to expand the curbside collection area to Haldimand County’s rural Communities.
