DH-509-18-TFM-011-19 Select Main Dining Hall Domestic Hot Water Tank Replacement

This project generally consists of demolition of existing piping and the supply and installation of new domestic hot water tanks and pumps, and associate mechanical piping, electrical and controls work. The system provides domestic hot water to both the Main Dining Hall and the Rothermere residence.

Tenders are invited and will be received not later than 3:00 p.m. (Newfoundland Local Time) on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, for the above tender(s), and a Public Tender Opening will be held at that same time.

Electronic copies of plans and specifications are now available at no charge by calling (709) 864-4479.

All inquiries during the tender period are to be submitted in writing by email to cballah@mun.ca.

There is a pre-bid site briefing scheduled for 10:00 a.m. (NST) on Thursday, March 21, 2019. Potential bidders are encouraged to attend as it will provide an opportunity to review the existing mechanical room space. Please meet at the west entrance to the Main Dining Hall (adjacent Rothermere).

The University does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
