REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR ABSENTEEISM AND DISABILITY MANAGEMENT CONSULTING SERVICES FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Submissions are invited and will be received up to 3:00 pm, Newfoundland Time Wednesday, May 8, 2019, for the above-titled Request for Proposals with a public opening to follow in Room A4031, Arts & Administration Building.

Memorial University is seeking proposals from qualified disability management consultants to provide on-site disability management services for non-academic employees through an external consultant for the period of one-year with the possibility of extension upon mutual agreement. Reporting to the Department of Human Resources, the successful consultant will work closely with university departments, as an employer advocate, on absenteeism and disability management issues. The aim of the project is to improve the management of employee’s sick leave claims, reduce the cost associated with employee absenteeism and reduce the overall usage of the short-term sick leave program for non-academic staff.
Proposals submitted in response to this request should include information as detailed in this RFP with focus and attention being paid to the identified scope of services and assessment criteria outlined herein. Faxed responses will not be accepted.

In the event that the University is closed earlier than normally expected prior to a schedule closing for that day, or for the full day, the closing date for those closings will be extended to the next business day for the University at the same time as listed originally.
