Description

Renovation of the older 1930's gymnasium at St. Patrick's High School. The location is in room 232 located on the second floor.

Work includes the removal of existing concrete bleachers, removal and re-installation of insulation on the ceiling, storage area, refurbishing/painting of all walls, remove doors on the third floor that serve as access to the bleachers, create 5 openings for viewing from 3rd floor, removal and infilling of 4 large exterior window openings, removal and installation of new sports flooring, all necessary patch work, flooring, painting, upgraded lighting and new double doors at both entrances and hardware for access to the gym.

The design shall also consist of any upgrades needed for mechanical, electrical and life safety systems.

Site Examination: It is Mandatory that All General Contractors visit the Project site and surrounding area before submitting Bid. Bidders are to contact the School’s Head Custodian at 807-631-8376 to arrange a day and time for review. Bidders must attend the site on or before Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Bidders must ensure they record their name, title and company name on the Owner’s “Site Meeting Log”. Failure of a Bidder to so attend and to register for a site visit will result in such Bidder Bid not being considered and having his Bid returned unopened.
