RFP SCOPE
FCC is seeking a Proponent (service provider) who offers a comprehensive media monitoring and distribution service for online news, print and broadcast media in Canada. Such service provider should have at least one (1) office in Canada, and have proven knowledge and expertise in media monitoring offering the following services:
- a web-based platform (tool) to monitor news coverage and provide insights;
- a platform that allows users to create/manage customized media distribution lists for distributing HTML emails directly to individual journalists, as well as the ability to post media products on various newswire services;
- monitoring of traditional and web-based media via key words, including the key media identified by FCC in Appendix C of this RFP (NOTE: Key media listed may be subject to minor changes/revisions by FCC, at any time, throughout the course of any resulting Agreement(s) with a selected Proponent(s));
- regular/routine review and update of Canadian media sources and contacts database, in addition to ongoing subscriber updates; and
- measurement of news release performance and media coverage.

RFP PROCESS CONSIDERATIONS
- FCC is subject to the Official Languages Act (Canada). Proponents may choose to respond to this RFP in their official language of choice (English or French).
- This opportunity notice references a non-binding, competitive RFP, and is not a call for tenders. FCC is not obligated to proceed with the Work described in the RFP Scope, and may cancel the RFP at any time. FCC’s procurement process allows for consecutive or concurrent negotiations between FCC and one (1) or multiple Proponents, prior to awarding a Contract.
