RFP SCOPE
FCC is looking for a Proponent to provide actuarial and consulting services in respect of FCC’s pension and post-employment benefit plans, for a term of up to five (5) years (beginning approximately January 1, 2025), with an option to renew for an additional five (5) years. The Proponent is expected to provide all necessary, customary and required actuarial services for the Defined Benefit Pension Plan, as well as administrative services and reporting required by OSFI for both the Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution portions of the Plan as well as for the supplemental pension plans sponsored by the Corporation. In addition, the Proponent will provide the required annual accounting disclosures for the Pension Plan pursuant to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), for reporting purposes to be included in the Annual Audited Financial Statements of FCC and the Pension Plan. The Proponent will also provide actuarial valuation services in respect of other post-employment benefits and general consulting services, when required. RFP PROCESS CONSIDERATIONS
- This opportunity is covered under the provisions of Chapter 5 (Government Procurement) of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and Chapter 19 (Government Procurement) of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
