THIS RFQ CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT

The scope of the project includes the rehabilitation and modernization of the base building structure and services of the West Memorial Building to accommodate the short term use of the building as a swing space for the Supreme Court of Canada and the long term fit up for future generic workspace.
The scope to be included in the future tender resulting from this prequalification includes:

• The provision of existing roof reinforcing and new roof decking to replace existing siporex panels.
• The provision of new structural framing of two new skylights over the existing courtyards.
• The provision of new structural steel columns and beams to accommodate the above.
• The reinforcement of existing beams and columns, including new connections to existing concrete members and existing steel beams covered with lead containing coatings.
