EO-150617-1 - Campus Engagement Strategy & Support 2017-2018

The objective of this RFP is to solicit proposals from proponents to provide Elections Ontario with a strategy, and execution of this strategy, to engage university and college students on campuses across Ontario in September 2017 and again in March 2018.
 
The March 2018 campus promotion will align with Election Ontario’s plan for a larger, province-wide promotion to encourage people to “get on the list”. The September 2017 campus promotion will build off of International Day of Democracy (September 15, 2017) and should include up to one week of campus activities (September 11-15).
 
While this RFP covers two phases of campus promotion prior to the 2018 GE, the duration of the contract to be entered into between the CEO and Successful Proponent(s) will be 5 years, valid through to 2022. This will ensure Elections Ontario is election-ready in the event that the 2018 GE results in a minority government. If this is the case and the following GE is called outside of the school year (September 1-May 1), campus engagement will not be required and Elections Ontario will not proceed with working with the Successful Proponent.
