Elections Ontario (or “EO”) is a non-partisan agency of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario working under the direction of the Chief Electoral Officer (“CEO”), an officer of the Legislative Assembly. EO is responsible for conducting general, by-elections and referenda in accordance with the provisions in the Elections Act and the administration of Election Finances Act.
Elections Ontario is seeking proposals for a Command Centre Dashboard Solution (as further described below) to be implemented by February 28, 2018.
The successful proponent (“Vendor”) will be required to enter into an agreement with Elections Ontario for the provision of the Command Centre Dashboard Solution that includes the Deliverables and Services outlined in this RFP (“Agreement”). It is Elections Ontario’s intention to enter into the Agreement with only one (1) Vendor. The term of the Agreement shall be for a period of three (3) years with an option in favour of Elections Ontario to extend the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for one (1) additional term of three (3) years.
The overall purpose of the command center is to promote effective communication, facilitate the resolution of issues/incidents, and ultimately, provide strategic analysis that informs decision-making during an electoral event. Within that context the command center dashboard is a primary tool to enable executive to identify potential risks and mitigate them in a timely and efficient manner.
The information required to prepare and submit a proposal to this RFP is contained in the documentation available from MERX.
