Edmonton Regional Airports Authority (“Edmonton Airports”) is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the following scope of work:

Supply and install all material, labour, restoration, insurance, equipment, night lighting, temporary access facilities, permits, survey layout and supervision including mobilization and demobilization to provide a complete and operational system as depicted on the plans, specifications and contract documents.
The work generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following:

Trenching and installation of new ducts, including backfill/compaction, and grading/restoration (including concrete encased ducts)
Supply and Installation of new cables in ducts
Supply and Installation of Metering Enclosure c/w equipment and concrete pad
Termination of cabling at existing power switchgear
Revisions to switchgear fusing
Supply and installation of new pad mount transformer, grounding, and bollards (transformer pre-cast concrete vault style pad to be supplied and installed by others)
Coordination with Edmonton Airports for all works, including all required power shutdowns

All work must be completed by the end of January 2019 or sooner as equipment is received and installed.

Due to the tight project timelines, a refurbished transformer may be utilized (new transformer is preferred, if available), so long as the requirements in the project specifications are met. Bidders are to state within Part 3 – Bid Form Package, if a new of refurbished transformer in included, or submit options for a new or refurbished transformer, along with project delivery timelines.

Construction is expected to start by the week of December 10th, 2018, with substantial completion by January 30, 2019 and total performance of work by February 15, 2019.

                  Multi-purpose Room

Directions: From Departures Level 2, take the escalator leading up to Mezzanine Level (escalator is located between Hudson News and Central Security, near door 28), and walk towards the back windows looking out to the airside. The boardroom will be to the left.

Companies who do not attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting will be excluded from bidding on this project.
