The project scope includes the supply and installation of power, communication conduits, pull power and fiber cables, by direct bury, from Baggage Inspection Facility (“BIF”) Building to the tower. Supply and installation of electrical pull pit, communication pedestal and manhole. Installation of lattice tower and tower base. Supply and installation of pad-mounted NEMA rated distribution box. Installation of cable, conduit and mounting plate for radar at top of tower. Radar will be supplied and installed by others. Installation of cable, conduit, mounting pipe and attachment plate for camera. Camera will be supplied and installed by others. Installation of lightning rod and attachment plate. Installation of double obstruction lights with pipe and attachment plate. Installation of cable supports and angle adaptors. Installation of tower and compound grounding. Testing and commissioning of new power and communication services. Topsoil stripping, topsoil placement and hydroseeding. Construction of gravel pad at tower site and site earthworks and grading activities for the gravel pad. Supply and install all other associated materials for a complete installation.

The termof the contract between Edmonton Airports and the successful contractor will be as follows:

Commencing September 17, 2018 with Substantial Completion by September 30th, 2018 and Final Completion by October 12th, 2018.

Directions: From Departures Level 2, take the escalator leading up to Mezzanine Level (escalator is located between Hudson News and Harvey’s restaurant), and walk towards the back windows looking out to the airside. The boardroom will be to the left.

Companies who do not attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting will be excluded from bidding on this project.
