2023-006 - RFP 223-006 Cyber Security Incident Management Training Program

This Negotiated Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is an invitation by the Digital Research Alliance of Canada (the “Alliance”) to prospective proponents to submit non-binding proposals for the provision of a Cyber Security Incident Management Training (IMT) Program.

By integrating, championing and funding the infrastructure and activities required for advanced research computing (ARC), research data management (RDM) and research software (RS), the Alliance serves Canadian researchers, with the objective of advancing Canada’s position as a leader in the knowledge economy on the international stage.

As part of its National Cyber Security Strategy, the Alliance will launch a training initiative to its institutional Partners across the National Platform to bolster its Cyber Security Incident Response Plan.  

The Alliance seeks the services of a firm with proven expertise in delivering effective Cyber Security Incident Response training. The successful proponent is expected to:
 

• Organize and deliver a series of online, real time, instructor-based Cyber Security Incident Management Training Programs to an audience of less than forty (40) participants.
• Provide role specific training for: Incident Command (incident lead), Unified Command (incident team), Liaison Officer (COMMS/PR), Incident Recorder (admin), and Subject Matter Expert (technical investigator/reporting).
• Teach best practice when designing and deploying an effective Cyber Security Incident response plan.
• Use current and relevant cyber security content in the training curriculum.
• Provide the training virtually starting no earlier than 0800h Pacific Time and ending no later than 1700h Atlantic time.
• Provide a certificate of completion for each participant upon successful completion.
