Concrete Supply at Alexandra Park Phase 2A

Deltera Inc. and their development partner Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC), are seeking a Concrete Supplier to be part of the successful vision and revitalization of the Alexandra Park community, for Site 1 MRKT Condo and Site 2 Atkinson (TCHC), located in Toronto, Canada. Additionally, this will include for Sites 3 and 16, founded as affordable housing and a Passive House Pilot Project consisting of two townhome developments consisting of 20 units, focusing on low- carbon emissions and renewable energy. From contemporary condominiums with combined retail spaces and townhomes, to a new community centre and public park, this comprehensive vision integrates new residential spaces with the flourishing neighbourhoods that exist around it. The Alexandra Park revitalization project continues to be a successful example of a multi-phase urban redevelopment.

Deltera and TCHC are using a three-stage process to select the successful Concrete Supplier: Stage I identifies the Mandatory Requirements to be included with this Contractor’s submission. Stage II will consist of an evaluation of the Rated Criteria, inclusive of a proposal outlining Methods and Procedures. Stage III will be the evaluation of the submitted pricing and will be undertaken after the evaluation of mandatory requirements and any rated requirements have been successfully completed. A further, more comprehensive breakdown of these stages have been outlined in Part 4.10 RFP Particulars.

This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is an invitation by the Toronto Community Housing Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “TCHC”) to prospective Proponents to submit a Proposal for the provision of Goods and/or Services as further described in Appendix B – Scope of Work (the “Deliverables”).
TCHC is seeking a Contractor for the provision of Concrete Supply at Alexandra Park Phase 2A .

Proponents shall submit one (1) hard copy and one (1) electronic PDF (on USB stick) of the assessable criteria and a copy of the ‘Scope of Work’ (pages 38-42) in a sealed package marked with the RFP title and number (see RFP cover) with the full legal name and return address of the proponent and with the Submission Deadline. Proponents must initial the bottom of each page in the ‘Scope of Work’ in the space provided. Proponents shall submit one (1) hard copy of their pricing submitted on the Submission Form C- ‘Rate Bid Form in an independently sealed envelope.

Do not submit or insert the ‘Rate Bid Form’ (or the monetary value of the bid) as part of the assessable criteria in either the hardcopy or electronic format. A hardcopy format of the ‘Rate Bid Form’ is to be submitted only in an independently sealed envelope.

In the event of a conflict or inconsistency between the hard copy and the electronic copy of the proposal, the hard copy of the proposal shall prevail.
