DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project No. CA220633 – Woodpecker Control & Removal Services – The Military Museums – Calgary, Alberta
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to remove Northern Flicker Woodpeckers at the Military Museums Main building, via acceptable means necessary, to prevent further major damage to the exterior of the building.

Bids from bidders whose names do not appear on the list of bidders who ordered the tender documents may be declared invalid.
There is NO site visit scheduled for this opportunity.
Tenderers wishing to visit the site may request a site visit by contacting the DCC Contracting Authority. At the discretion of DCC, a site visit may be arranged, if possible.
The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the order of $8,000.00.
The contract will be in place from the date of award to March 31, 2023.
If mutually agreed between DCC and the Contractor, this contract may be extended for two (2) additional one (1) year periods under the same terms and conditions and applicable cost escalation. Please refer to Amendment No. 1 for details.
As per the Acknowledgement Document, item 7 – Bidders are advised that it is understood and agreed that in the event of their Tender being accepted within 30 (thirty) calendar days of the date and time stated for closing of tenders and their failing or refusing to carry out the contract in accordance with the terms of thei Tender, their bid security, if required by the tender, (i) if in the form of a wire transfer, shall be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, or (ii) if in the form of a Bid Bond, the Bonding Company shall be liable in accordance with the Bond.
There is NO Industrial Security requirement on this project.
