DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project HAXWG59 - Row Housing Heating - Boiler Installation Various Residential Housing Units (RHU’s), CFHA Winnipeg, Manitoba
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to install new heating boilers, portable water feed, circulation system and controls to each building which consists of 8 individual Residential Housing Units (RHU’s).
Tenderers are advised that bid security is required for this opportunity. Refer to the Instructions to Tenderers (Form DCL193E), Paragraph 5.
As per Acknowledgement Document, Item 7 – Bidders are advised that it is understood and agreed that in the event of their Tender being accepted within 30 (thirty) calendar days of the date and time stated for closing of tenders and their failing or refusing to carry out the contract in accordance with the terms of their Tender, their bid security, if required by the tender, (i) if in the form of a wire transfer, shall be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, or (ii) if in the form of a Bid Bond, the Bonding Company shall be liable in accordance with the Bond.

Bids from bidders whose name does not appear on the official list of bidders who ordered the tender documents, may be declared invalid.

Contractors must meet the following Completion milestone dates:
Phase 1 - All related work within HAXWG59 Specification and Drawings to Annex C Row House Units Units 103, 105 and 106 only, must reach Substantial Completion no later than 112 calendar days after notification of contract award and that the Work must reach Completion no later than 7 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
Phase 2 - All related work within HAXWG59 Specification and Drawings to Annex D Row House Units 107 to 114, must reach Substantial Completion no later than 448 calendar days after notification of contract award and that the Work must reach Completion no later than 14 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion. Contractor will NOT commence work at any time until May 23, 2023.
