DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project SD203001 – Replace Steam Boilers B1 and B2 in Building B001 at CFB Suffield, Alberta.
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary for the replacement of existing low pressure steam boilers, feedwater tank and condensate return tank serving Building B001, located in CFB Suffield, Alberta
Tenderers are advised that bid security is required for this opportunity. Refer to the Instructions to Tenderers (Form DCL193E), Paragraph 5.
As per Acknowledgement Document, Item 7 – Bidders are advised that it is understood and agreed that in the event of their Tender being accepted within 30 (thirty) calendar days of the date and time stated for closing of tenders and their failing or refusing to carry out the contract in accordance with the terms of their Tender, their bid security, if required by the tender, (i) if in the form of a wire transfer, shall be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, or (ii) if in the form of a Bid Bond, the Bonding Company shall be liable in accordance with the Bond.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the range of $1,540,400.00
The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 428 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 30 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organizational Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD) within Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.
