DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project DN180005_CN75831 – Repair MAGS CFAD 2021, 17 Wing Detachment Dundurn, Dundurn, SK
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to remove and dispose existing loose stone and asphalt materials, existing eave troughs and downspouts and install a pitched truss roof on the main buildings and attached boiler rooms for the 3 designated buildings (Mag 7, Mag 9 & Mag 14) at the Dundurn CFAD storage area including all associated flashings and trims. Work also involves replacing one designated door per unit for 13 magazines (MAGS); including structural modifications, frame, door and hardware, security locks and components (deadbolts, etc.) and providing a temporary security barricade over inside passage way.

A NON-MANDATORY site visit has been arranged for the following date, time and location.

In order to access the Site, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times by attendee(s) during the site visit to provide a barrier to help prevent potential exposure to COVID-19.
To help limit the exposure, only one individual from each company is to be permitted to attend the site visit. Tenderers wishing to attend the Site Meeting MUST register at least one (1) business day prior to the site visit by emailing their Name and Company to the DCC Bidder Contact.
The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the range of $450,000.00.
The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 180 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 30 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD) within Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.
