The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to upgrade the HVAC system to the building, Arena Refrigeration System, Pool HVAC System, Pool Mechanical System, and Emergency and Exit Light System.

All Consultant/Contractor personnel, including employees of Sub-Contractors/Sub-Consultants at all tiers, who attends the site visit must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The Consultant/Contractor will be required to carry proof of vaccination and verifications may be carried out by DCC or the DND/CAF at any time.
The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the range of $ 8,500,000.00
The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 510 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 92 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion, with a milestone of 145 calendar days for the Substantial Completion of the Emergency and Exit Light System (EELS) Upgrade section of the work.
Tenderers are advised that there are five (5) separate sets of P&S that make up the complete scope of the construction contract. Bidders are to provide a lump sum price for the complete scope of work included in all five (5) P&S packages.
As per Acknowledgement Document, Item 7 – Bidders are advised that it is understood and agreed that in the event of their Tender being accepted within 30 (thirty) calendar days of the date and time stated for closing of tenders and their failing or refusing to carry out the contract in accordance with the terms of their Tender, their bid security, if required by the tender, (i) if in the form of a wire transfer, shall be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, or (ii) if in the form of a Bid Bond, the Bonding Company shall be liable in accordance with the Bond.
This procurement is being conducted in accordance with the requirements set out in Chapter Five of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
