DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project No. HAXWG35 – Eavestrough and Downspout Replacement, CFHA Winnipeg, MB.
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to replace Eavestrough and Downspouts at various residential housing units located at CFHA 17 Wing Winnipeg, Winnipeg Manitoba.
Tenderers are advised that bid security is required for this opportunity. Refer to the Instructions to Tenderers (Form DCL193E), Paragraph 5.
As per Acknowledgement Document, Item 7 – Bidders are advised that it is understood and agreed that in the event of their Tender being accepted within 30 (thirty) calendar days of the date and time stated for closing of tenders and their failing or refusing to carry out the contract in accordance with the terms of their Tender, their bid security, if required by the tender, (i) if in the form of a wire transfer, shall be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, or (ii) if in the form of a Bid Bond, the Bonding Company shall be liable in accordance with the Bond.

The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 451 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 7 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion. (Refer to Amendment No. 1 for Completion milestone dates).
