DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project WR541519_CN76970 – Compound Repair (K, C, M) – 3CDSB Wainwright, Alberta
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to repair three (3) existing gravel compounds. Work in compound K includes removal of hydrocarbon materials; add new geo-composite fabric, crushed concrete, gravel, construct circular concrete access way, and install new light standards. Work in compound C includes regrading and adding crushed concrete and new gravel. Work in compound M includes removal of surface vegetation, regrading and adding new gravel.

As per Acknowledgement Document, Item 7 – Bidders are advised that it is understood and agreed that in the event of their Tender being accepted within 30 (thirty) calendar days of the date and time stated for closing of tenders and their failing or refusing to carry out the contract in accordance with the terms of their Tender, their bid security, if required by the tender, (i) if in the form of a wire transfer, shall be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, or (ii) if in the form of a Bid Bond, the Bonding Company shall be liable in accordance with the Bond.

In order to access the Site, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times by attendee(s) during the site visit to provide a barrier to help prevent potential exposure to COVID-19.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the range of $1,150,000.00
The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 83 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 7 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
