The estimated cost for this opportunity over a two (2) year period is in the order of $5,200,000.00. Extension opportunities exist where, if fully extended, this opportunity could be worth than estimated $7,900,000.00.
The Contract will run from Award of Contract date to September 30, 2021 (approx. 800 days), including 730 days (October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2021) of On-Site Services, PLUS approximately 70 days, the Award to On-Site Service Commencement period. The Contractor will be required to begin providing the On-Site Services October 1, 2019.
If mutually agreeable between the Contractor and DCC, the contract may be extended for up to one (1) additional one (1) year period with the same Terms and Conditions and applicable cost escalation.
This procurement is being conducted in accordance with the requirements set out in
Chapter Five of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Chapter Ten of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Chapter Nineteen of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA).
The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD) within Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.
