Location: CANEX in the Village of Ralston, Alberta
Those bidders wishing to attend the site tour are requested to contact the DCC office at (403)544-4562 by noon on June 14, 2022 to advise of an intention to attend.
The term of the contract is from contract award to November 07, 2022.
If mutually agreed upon by the contractor and DCC, the contract may be extended once (1x) for two (2) years with the same terms and conditions. If fully extended the contract term would be from notification of award to November 07, 2024.
No on-site work can begin earlier than October 03 and the on-site work must be completed by November 07 each year. Refer to specification section 01 11 00 – 3.1 & 3.2.
If the contract is extended the amount submitted for the Period of Service from notification of award to November 07, 2022, will be adjusted annually from the date of award by calculating the percentage change in the Page 2 of 3 Bank of Canada’s Consumer Price Index, all-items excluding eight of the most volatile components as defined by the Bank of Canada and excluding the effect of changes in indirect taxes (CPI). The adjustment would be in effect starting the month after the one-year anniversary. The rates will then be adjusted annually thereafter on the anniversary of the award by calculating the 12-month percentage change in the CPI for each year of the extension period(s) if such optional period(s) are exercised by Defence Construction Canada. There will be no retroactive rate adjustments. The CPI used for calculation will not be seasonally adjusted.
Please note that the preliminary tender results for this project will be available on MERX.
