Purpose of this Advance Procurement Notice
This is not a bid solicitation. This is an advance notice of a potential project with anticipated security requirements to provide interested contractors an opportunity to apply for security clearances. Note that there is no guarantee that this project will proceed.
Description of the Project
This project will provide a detailed underground utilities survey at 3CDSB Wainwright, Alberta. Lines are to be identified and surveyed, through a 4-way grid sweep.
Description of the Services
Work under this contract covers the supply of all labour, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and supervision required to conduct a 4-way grid sweep above ground and underground utilities to for the Department of National Defence (DND) at 3rd Canadian Division Support Base (3CDSB) Wainwright, Alberta
The approximate value of this project is $325,000.00.
It is anticipated that this procurement will be initiated in April 2022. This is conditional on the project receiving approval to proceed by the DND.
Security Requirements
Contractors will be required to hold a valid DESIGNATED ORGANIZATION SCREENING (DOS), issued or approved by the Contract Security Program (CSP), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
Sub-contractors will be required to hold a valid DESIGNATED ORGANIZATION SCREENING (DOS), issued or approved by the Contract Security Program (CSP), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
Process
Contractors that do not meet the stipulated security requirements and that are interested in submitting a bid for this procurement can apply for the security clearance through the Industrial Security Program (ISP). This can be done by following the procedure on DCC’s website at the following link: https://www.dcc-cdc.gc.ca/industry/security-requirements. Contractors are asked to submit their request prior to January 14, 2022 quoting the following information:
- Contract number WR27392-AW; and
- Level of clearance requested to be sponsored for.
