Purpose of this Advance Procurement Notice
This is not a bid solicitation. This is an advance notice of potential projects with anticipated security requirements to provide interested contractors an opportunity to apply for security clearances. Note that there is no guarantee that these projects will proceed.

Description of the Project
The goal of this project is to build an extension to the Medical Center located on the Valcartier Garrison as well as renovate the actual Medical Center (VC-109) and Dental Unit (VC-168).

Description of the Services
The project requires to supply all materials, equipment and labour in order to realize the following work

Construction of a 2-story medical center extension;
Dental unit (VC-168) renovation;
Actual medical center (VC-109) renovation;

Selective demolition of existing buildings (VC-109A, VC-168 and VC-143).

It is anticipated that this or these procurement(s) will be implemented in fall, 2020. This is conditional on the project receiving DND approval to proceed. It is possible that only a portion of the above listed work receives DND approval.

The total project value is estimated at 37M$.

Security Requirements
Contractors will be required to hold a valid DESIGNATED ORGANIZATION SCREENING (DOS), issued or approved by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).

Sub-contractors will be required to hold a valid DESIGNATED ORGANIZATION SCREENING (DOS), issued or approved by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).

Process
Contractor or sub-contractors that do not meet the stipulated security requirements and that are interested in submitting a bid for this procurement can apply for the security clearance through the Industrial Security Program (ISP). This can be done by following the procedure on DCC’s website at the following link: http://www.dcc-cdc.gc.ca/english/contractors_consultants.html. Contractor are asked to submit their request prior to August 24th, 2020 quoting the following information:

Contract number HQ1207C1; and

Level of clearance requested to be sponsored for.
