Purpose of this Advance Procurement Notice
This is not a bid solicitation. This is an advance notice of a potential project with anticipated security requirements to provide interested contractors an opportunity to apply for security clearances. Note that there is no guarantee that this project will proceed.
Description of the Project
The purpose of this project is to obtain the services of a company to provide inspection, testing and maintenance services for the following Garrisons: Montreal and St-Hubert, St-Jean and Farnham, Valcartier and DRDC Valcartier, CFB Bagotville as well as the satellite sites affiliated with these Garrisons. The contract also provides for 24-hour service delivery, every day of the year, to respond to calls for service and emergency calls.
Description of the Services
Services required for the project may include, but are not limited to, inspection, testing, maintenance, and service and emergency calls for the various systems and components of the real state park: fire alarm system, automatic sprinkler systems, fire cabinets, special foam systems, other special systems, booster pumps, fire pumps.
The total value of the program is estimated at about$ 1,500,000 $ per year for the next 5 years.
It is anticipated that the procurements will be put in place during winter 2022. This is conditional on the project receiving approval to proceed from DND.
Security Requirements
For this program, Contractors will be required to hold a valid FACILITY SECURITY CLEARANCE (FSC) at the level of SECRET, issued or approved by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
Sub-contractors will be required to hold a valid FACILITY SECURITY CLEARANCE (FSC) at the level of SECRET, issued or approved by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
Process
Contractors that do not meet the stipulated security requirements and that are interested in submitting a bid for this procurement can apply for the security clearance through the Industrial Security Program (ISP). This can be done by following the procedure on DCC’s website at the following link:
http://www.dcc-cdc.gc.ca/english/contractors_consultants/. Contractors are asked to submit their request
prior to August 13, 2021 quoting the following information
- Contract number ML210001; and
- Level of clearance requested to be sponsored for.
