DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – HARTR80_CN64120 – Recapitalization 743, 744 and JJ Style RHUs – Trenton, Ontario
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to renovate one (1) type JJ residential housing unit with a gross floor area of 98m2, two (2) type 743 residentail housing units with a gross floor area of 102.5m2 each, and three (3) type 744 residential housing units with a gross floor area of 100m2 each, located in the residential housing site of CFB Trenton. The units to be renovated are two storey. The general scope of the project includes interior renovations to kitchen/dining room, living room, bedrooms and the addition of a second floor powder room. It also includes removal of hazardous materials, drywall replacement and upgrades to insulation, mechanical and electrical systems.

Bids from bidders whose name does not appear on the official list of bidders who ordered the tender documents, may be declared invalid.

Bidders are advised that bid security is required when specifically called for through the Electronic Bidding System. Refer to the Instructions to Tenderers (Form DCL193E), paragraph 5.
Contract security is required when the tender amount is greater than $100,000.00 or, if the tender amount is less than $100,000.00, when bid security is required pursuant to paragraph 5.1. Contract security shall be submitted in accordance with the DCL 32 - General Conditions.
The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 119 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 21 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
This procurement follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Agreement on Internal Trade.
