Defence Construction Canada (DCC) – KN14LV01 – Request for letters of interest: Architectural and Engineering Services REFRESH, CFB Kingston, Ontario
In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the Province of Ontario, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is refreshing open lists of A&E firms interested in providing low dollar value A&E professional services to meet DND requirements at CFB Kingston, Ontario as and when required. The lists are for the following categories: Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Structural. This does not include Environmental services.
Firms presently named to the list are not required to re-apply.
Only firms with offices located within a radius of 100 km of the Construction Engineering Building (5 d’Artisan Road, Kingston, Ontario, K7K 7B4) will be considered for inclusion on the lists.
Commissions are expected to be valued between $5,000 and $50,000 and should not exceed $100,000. The total amount of opportunities for any of the lists will not exceed $440,000 in value in any given year. However, this is not a commitment by DCC to spend this or any amount.
The lists were established in May of 2014 and are expected to remain in place for a further period of three years. DCC reserves the right to suspend or extend the use of the lists at any time. Firms interested in being considered for these lists are asked to submit a letter of interest by end of business day June 15, 2017. DCC will continue to consider letters of interest and add firms to the list after June 15, 2017. DCC may also re-advertise the list from time to time. Firms already on the lists need not re-apply.
Call-up Process:
Firms will be selected on a rotational basis and invited to confirm they have the qualifications needed to meet the requirements of the opportunity. Once DCC is satisfied that the firm’s qualifications are acceptable, DCC will attempt to negotiate an agreement for the services with the firm. If an agreement cannot be reached, DCC will have the sole right to terminate negotiations at its discretion and will restart the process with the next firm on the rotation.
The consultant and its key personnel shall be, or be eligible to be licensed, certified or otherwise authorized to provide the necessary professional services to the full extent that may be required by provincial or territorial law in the Province or Territory in which the project is located.
This opportunity is not subject to trade agreements.

Firms should indicate which list they are interested in.
