DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – KN149971_63989 – VB24 Asbestos Dust Removal – Kingston, Ontario
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary for type 2 asbestos cleaning of all interior surfaces of Building VB24. Abatement is to remove asbestos containing dust.
This project contains security requirements.
The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.

A MANDATORY site visit will be held at the following date, time and location.

Bids from bidders who fail to attend the mandatory site visit on time shall be declared invalid.
The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the range of $71,000.00
Bidders are advised that bid security is required when specifically called for through the Electronic Bidding System. Refer to the Instructions to Tenderers (Form DCL193E), paragraph 5.
Contract security is required when the tender amount is greater than $100,000.00 or, if the tender amount is less than $100,000.00, when bid security is required pursuant to paragraph 5.1. Contract security shall be submitted in accordance with the DCL 32 - General Conditions.
The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 28 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 28 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
This procurement follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Agreement on Internal Trade.
