Defence Construction Canada – Request for Abbreviated Proposals for Environmental Consultant Monitoring Services: IE15347A, Environmental Quality Assurance Monitoring Services, Contract 1 – B Jetty Deconstruction, Dredging, Onshore Facilities and Site Construction, CFB Esquimalt, Victoria, BC
In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from environmental consulting firms to provide the following professional services: Quality Assurance (QA) environmental monitoring services for Contract 1 - B Jetty Deconstruction, Dredging, Onshore Facilities and Site Construction, at CFB Esquimalt. The B Jetty Contract 1 work will include the deconstruction and removal of jetty infrastructure, dredging and excavation of contaminated soil and sediments, underwater and onshore blasting of bedrock, and the reconstruction of jetty infrastructure. This Scope of Work (SOW) is for providing the QA on the environmental components of the contract, to verify adequate mitigation and compliance as outlined within the regulatory and contractual requirements.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposals. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise. The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposals is to select the proponent with the highest total score.
This opportunity follows procurement procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.

The estimated cost of this project is in the order of magnitude of $800,000.
