Proponents are advised that this procurement has been set-aside under the Federal Government’s Set-Aside Program for Aboriginal Businesses, in accordance with the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB). In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from Contractors to establish a Standing Offer Agreement to provide “as and when required” UXO services specific to the Department of National Defence requirements at the Madeline Lake Range on Okanagan Indian Band (OKIB) Lands, Vernon, BC.
The work includes but is not necessarily limited to the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to provide UXO services at the Madeline Lake Range on Okanagan Indian Band (OKIB) Lands, Vernon, BC ddd .
The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposal (RFAP) is to select one (1) Contractor, who will sign a Standing Offer Agreement (SOA) with DCC to provide services on an “as and when required” basis for a period of one (1) year from establishment with a value of $1,000,000.00 for the initial period.
If mutually agreeable between the Contractor and DCC, the SOA may be extended for two (2) additional one (1) year periods and increased in value in the order of $3,000,000.00 for each additional period.
Call-ups under the SOA are expected to be valued between $300,000.00 and $500,000.00; the maximum value of a Call-up is $1,000,000.00.
