Contractors that are already pre-qualified for a specific category of services under this Source List are not required to re-apply for this specific category.

Defence Construction Canada is calling for Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from local contractors to become pre-qualified to be on a Source list for Quick Response Tenders (QRT) / Urgent Response Tenders (URT) for work required by the Department of National Defence at Yellowknife, Northwest Territories for one (1) year from September 8, 2016, with the option to extend by two (2) additional one (1) year periods.

Prequalification will be for the following categories of services:

Mechanical
Electrical
Heavy civil work
Carpentry
Plumbing
General contractor
Snow removal
Landscaping
Hazardous waste management
Demolition
Roofing
Janitorial work
Fire protection systems

DCC may utilize QRT’s and URT’s for projects ranging in value up to $300,000.00.

This procurement follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Agreement on Internal Trade.

The RFQ closing date is: November 24, 2016

The RFQ closing time is: 14:00 hours, local time.

Only Request for Qualifications received before November 24, 2016 at 14:00 hours, local time will be considered for this QRT/URT Source list. Faxed or emailed submissions will be accepted.

Note: If Contractors choose to forward their submission via Canada Post, they must be advised that Canada Post does not deliver directly to the Defence Construction Canada office. Therefore, additional time must be given in order for the submission to reach its intended destination.
