Defence Construction Canada – Request for Abbreviated Proposals for Multidisciplinary Engineering Consulting Services Source List, St. John’s, Gander, Goose Bay, Corner Brook, Stephenville and Grand Falls Armoury, Newfoundland and Labrador
In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from engineering consulting firms to establish a Source List to provide “as and when required” professional services specific to Department of National Defence (DND) requirements located in St. John’s, Gander, Goose Bay, Corner Brook, Stephenville and Grand Falls Armoury, Newfoundland and Labrador
The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposal (RFAP) is to select two (2) firms, who will be placed on a Source List (SL) with DCC to provide services on an “as and when required” basis to a maximum estimated value of $950,000 for a period of two (2) years from the date of the SL establishment. If mutually agreeable between the Consultant and DCC, the SL may be extended for up to two (2) additional one year periods and increased in the order of $475,000 for each additional period. Commissions under the may be valued between $1 and $350,000. The majority of call-ups are expected to be between $5,000 and $100,000; the maximum value of a Commission is $350,000. The SL is not a commitment by DCC to spend the entire or any amount.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposals. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise. The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposals is to select the proponent with the highest total score.
This opportunity follows procurement procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.
