Purpose of this Advance Procurement Notice
This is not a bid solicitation. This is an advance notice of potential project with anticipated security requirements to provide interested contractors an opportunity to apply for security clearances. Note that there is no guarantee that this project will proceed.
Description of the Project
This procurement is for Facility Maintenance services for the new Healthcare Facility currently being built at 4 Wing Cold Lake. This contract will be awarded for one contractor for a three year-period with an option to extend for an additional two one-year periods.
Description of the Services
The type of facility maintenance services requested under this project may include, but not limited to, the following:
1. HVAC (including BAS components) Maintenance and Repair
2. Electrical Systems Maintenance and Repair
3. Plumbing Systems Maintenance and Repair
4. Fire Detection and Suppression Systems Maintenance and Repair
5. Elevators, Escalators and Lifting Systems Maintenance and Repair
6. Door Systems Maintenance and Repair
7. Generator Maintenance and Repair
8. Life Safety Systems Inspection, Testing, Maintenance and Repair
9. Building Envelope Maintenance and Repair
10. Integrated Pest Management Services
Overall program value is estimated at $550,000.00 for five years.
It is anticipated that this procurement will be initiated in August 2018. This is conditional on the project receiving approval to proceed by the DND.
Security Requirements
Contractors will be required to hold a valid DESIGNATED ORGANIZATION SCREENING (DOS) issued or approved by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
Process
Contractors that do not meet the stipulated security requirements and that are interested in submitting a bid for this procurements that fall under this program can apply for the security clearance through the Industrial Security Program (ISP). This can be done by following the procedure on DCC’s website at the following link: http://www.dcc-cdc.gc.ca/english/contractors_consultants.html. Contractors are asked to submit their request prior to July 18, 2018 quoting the following information:
- Contract number IE0652MD; and
- Level of clearance requested to be sponsored for.
