Defence Construction Canada – Request for Proposals (RFP) for Facilities Maintenance and Support Services at CFS St. John’s and Outlying Areas, Newfoundland.
Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Facilities Maintenance firms to provide proposals to carry out the required Facilities Maintenance Services for buildings and associated areas for CFS St. John’s and outlying areas in Newfoundland.
This Facility Maintenance and Support Services Contract requires the Contractor to be responsible for the Maintenance and Support Services of all identified buildings, land areas and their associated infrastructure within the defined property limits that will ensure compliance with all regulations, standards and codes and to a standard that will not cause the buildings to deteriorate beyond normal wear and tear throughout the contract term.
The Contractor will be required to provide Facilities Maintenance and Support Services over the next three (3) years and to start Services 30 days after Contract award. The required services will be for 19 buildings with an approximate total gross floor area of 44,611 m2.
If mutually agreeable between the Contractor and DCC, the contract may be extended up to two (2) additional one (1) year period, for a possible total of 5 years.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Proposals.
The estimated contract value over a 3 year period is in the order of $2M including the Prime Cost Allowances.
This opportunity follows procurement procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.
